Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Fly to Murchison Falls National Park
After being picked up from your hotel or the airport, you’ll be driven to Entebbe Airport for your flight to Murchison Falls National Park. The flight takes between one to one and a half hours, landing at Pakuba Airstrip. Upon landing, a guide will drive you to your lodge for the night. After lunch and a short rest, you’ll head out for an evening game drive. Here, you might see herds of buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, and possibly even lions and leopards, depending on your luck. After the drive, you’ll return to your lodge for the night.

Day 2
Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise to the Falls
After an early breakfast, you’ll go on another game drive to look for any animals you may have missed on the first day. Afterward, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch before heading to the pier for a two-hour boat cruise on the Nile River. The Nile is the world’s longest river, stretching 6,853 kilometers and flowing through eleven countries. On the boat, you can expect to see various water birds, hippos, crocodiles, and animals like buffaloes and elephants that come to the river to drink. After the cruise, you’ll return to your lodge for the night.

Day 3
Delta Cruise and Afternoon Game Drive
You’ll start your day with an early departure from the lodge, taking a picnic lunch with you. You’ll catch the morning boat at the jetty for a delta cruise on the Nile. On this cruise, you’ll likely see large herds of buffaloes, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeests, giraffes, elephants, and other wildlife that come to the Nile to drink. Birdwatchers will also enjoy spotting the many species of birds that live along the river. In the afternoon, you’ll have another game drive before returning to the lodge for some relaxation and your final night in the park.

Day 4
Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you’ll either head straight to Pakuba Airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe or enjoy one last game drive before departure. This marks the end of your safari.
