Day 2
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trek at 8:00 am. Be prepared with packed lunch, drinking water, a rain jacket, and jungle boots. Rangers will provide walking sticks. The time it takes to find the gorillas can vary, but seeing a silverback or a baby gorilla is an incredible experience. After your trek, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. You can choose from Heritage Lodge, Bunyonyi Resort, or Bunyonyi Overland Camp, with a full-board meal plan.
Day 3
Golden Monkey Tracking or Lake Bunyonyi Visit
After breakfast, decide whether to track golden monkeys in Mgahinga National Park or visit Lake Bunyonyi. Golden monkey tracking offers a chance to see these unique primates in their natural habitat. After your chosen activity, head back to Kigali. Enjoy lunch on the way and then either stay overnight at a Kigali hotel or head directly to the airport for your departure. The meal plan for this day is half-board.
